I am in Huatulco and I used Mexico Immigration Adviser Moctezuma, a woman named Maria Morales Vazquez. I got my residency from within Mexico in 2021. I also know of a lawyer who helped a couple of people from within Mexico. But I don't know his name or contact. I actually found out a lot of information once I was there in Mexico. Perhaps you are getting advise about do this first but that is not what I did. I didn't know I was going to immigrate to Mexico when I left Canada in December 2020. But once I got there I knew I did not want to go back and I started asking questions, locally.
