Is cohousing worth a look?

Hello,

I have been everywhere with this concept in the US (and, oddly, North Cyprus). I know some people that have bought property together on the West Coast but have gone no farther. It gets expensive and seems to mimic an over 55 development...just can't step away from that model(ugh). I, too, have a gate and HOA fees with a bored board(!). I have friends in Jalisco but the prices have gone up at least 46 percent
and I am quickly being priced out. I will follow all the links presented and work on catching up with this.
