Best time to go is when you can bet on NFL games, avoid the summer, the prices are lower then for a reason.

Monument Valley is 6 and half hours drive from Las Vegas. I would advise renting a car. Also, go through St George, UT, not through Flagstaff, AZ. The first road never gets much above 5,000 feet elevation while going through Flagstaff you鈥檒l go over 7,000 feet elevation and a few mountain passes and may encounter more winter weather in late October.

Three days for Las Vegas and Monument Valley?聽 That's not nearly enough time.
