Cairns or Darwin?

Hi,
Actually, I live and work in a restaurent as a waitress in Melbourne. But I planning to move to the north at the end of July or in August. I hesitate between Darwin and Cairns. I would like to stay 2 or 3 months.

Is it easy to find a job there? Which one is the better?聽 What about the wages ?

I'd say definitely Cairns. It is a tourist destination so lots of cafes/restaurants and hospitality work. It's been awhile since I worked in that industry but I think you'd be looking at $14ish an hour? Maybe contact a temp agency like Signature Staff to find out. You wouldn't necessarily have to go through them once you get to Cairns but they might be able to give you a better idea of wages.
