Gay expat in PNG

Hi there

I am considering taking up a position in POM. I am a gay guy with a partner. Can鈥檛 find much online one way or the other as to whether this would be problematic in PNG.

I know it is illegal there but from what I read, that鈥檚 rarely enforced. My assumption is as long as any affection is kept private, we should be ok?

Does anyone have any experience and can shed some light?
