currently i am administrative assistant in a chemical company but i will accept any job offer or position as long as the salary package is acceptable i just want to be in brazil and i think we filipinos dont need visa to enter im not sure but hopefully

First and foremost - have you ever been do Brazil? Do you speak Portuguese? Do you know what bureaucracy is?

I never been in brazil and i dont know how to speak portuguese ....but i can speak english i think most brzillians speak english?

i dont know bureaucracy means bro i never heard of it before..

I would have to say only 2-5% of Brazilians speak English. In this country you really have no hope of finding work until 1) you are a permanent resident/or you find sponsorship through a company 2) you learn Portuguese.

Bureaucracy is the process of the government making your life miserable by making your do tasks that are completely and utterly pointless. It also means paying taxes for things and the money later disappearing.

Read through some of the posts on this forum to acquaint yourself what you could be in store for.

Bureaucracy means endless hours of filling out forms that make no sense whatsoever, following rules that seem moronic and have no logic, taking forever to do the most simple things that you could do in five minutes at home OR paying some fat lazy politician or an equally fat and lazy public servant a bribe to get it done.... that's bureaucracy and you can't do anything in Brazil without bureaucracy.

As an English teacher with a career of over 25 years now, you can believe Matt when he tells you that only about 2 - 5% of Brazilians speak English.

Yes, the grass often looks greener on the other side of the fence. Sometimes when you take a real close look you find out that's because it's artificial turf. LOL

If it is your intention to work in Brazil you need to apply for a VITEM-V Work Visa. Citizens of the Philippines can only come as tourists without a visa and that is limited to 90 days in any six month period. A tourist is NOT permitted to work.

Jobs are also very difficult to find because Brazilian laws require companys to prove they have exhausted all efforts to place a Brazilian in a job vacancy before they can fill the vacancy with a foreigner.

This is exactly what I am talking about - the price of paradise comes at a price and it isn't money (at least for me), it is grey hair or loss, anger, stress, frustration and holes in the wall.
