Living experience in Buzios

Hey everybody,
I'm new around here.
Me and my husband are living in Ceara for 3 years, but for many reason we want to move to the South or Southeast of Brazil.
Our 1st choice would be Buzios because of it's incredible scenery, but we would like to get your experiences on the subject, how is it to live in Buzios as a gringo, does it feel safe, is there some good infrastructures etc...
All kinds of info are welcome.

I have been to Buzios couple of times. I live in Rio Das Ostras. Buzios/Rio Das Ostras are quite safer cities. About an 40minutes to one hour from each other. There are lots of gringo living Buzios. As I have came across a few lot. I only visit Buzios at nights the bars so I wouldn't be in the best position to say how it is really living there. But people do say its more expensive than Rio Das OStras
