Life in Brazil: What foreigners should expect

I currently live in the U.S. and though I have never visited Brazil; I am thinking of relocating from the US. What can I expect as a foreigner moving to a new country. I have researched Brazil and I have made up my mind.

Welcome, Eddie!聽 Please look at my Post #5 in this thread:

It, and the comments of others in the thread, should give you a start on some of your questions, and on formulating others.聽 A lot of important topics are covered in the various threads of the Forum, so make some deep dives.

Visit Brazil before you make any decisions, research the country, and find out as much as you can about it.聽 And we're always here to help.

OP......

Tell us why you've made up your mind already about Brasil. Point out your top 5-6 bullet points in a post.

You've never been here yet, so, it's a bit presumptuous to make the statement you did. Maybe once everyone can see your reasoning, or lack thereof, responses might appear and help you decide whether or not the price of a flight and several weeks accommodations to do some actual "research" (you know what they say about the internet, right ?) is valid and even warranted.

Good luck.
