Purchasing Beds, lamps, refrigerator, etc. in Cali

Hi Folks,
Finally I move to Cali next week. Does anyone living in Cali have any suggestions where I should buy everything that I need to furnish the apartment that is rented. I will need beds,refrigerator, stove,couch...everything for the apartment.

There are many places but maybe start at Exito for appliances and La 14 (many around the city) which although primarily a grocery store also has many household items.

Also you should visit the malls, like Chipichape, Unicentro, Palmetto, Cosmocentro and Holguines, and more I can't remember:

There's a home depot type store Homecenter in the mall El Ingenio:

Often it is hard to find good quality furniture at a good price.聽 If you can wait you can get furniture built at a reasonable cost, you need to find an "ebanister铆a".

Also you can find second-hand furniture shops, this one is across the street from the Biblioteca Departamental on Avenida Roosevelt, Calle 5 24A-91, in this picture here:

In Cali there is an area of town where dozens of furniture stores line the streets, one next to the other.聽 When I lived in Cali with my wife she took me there and we walked around and looked at the options and I picked out my favorites for bedroom and living room furniture.聽 It was nothing fancy, but it was clean, new, and solid at a reasonable price.聽 We bought our appliances, TVs, mattress, etc. at a place like Carrefour or Exito as the previous poster mentioned.

Where you depends on whether you want used or new.

I recommend used.

Well I'm originally from Cali but grew up in Usa
Exito is excellent store they have some Sales in refrigerators till Monday.
I know course my sister in Cali sed they had to buy a new fridge you can check other stuff too

Exito is a very good store they have a refrigerator sale now.
And you can look for other stuff as well
