Is there a place where expats meet in Montevideo ?

Hi I鈥檓 looking for a place to retire. My best friend and I are traveling to different countries. We first like to visit for a week than we plan on getting a place for couple of months. Uruguay is our first stop. We also plan on visiting Japan, Panama and Croatia.

Wish us luck. I have 2 very large dogs, and they will move with me.

Is there a place where you all meet in Montevideo? It would be nice to meet some expats.

Also I鈥檓 semi retired RN, specializing in cardiac.

There are no real regular organized meeting spots
