Two conversations. Great pay. No cold calls. Ever.
Ìý
So, what's the deal?
We're Brightgreen — an Australian company that makes the world's highest quality LED lighting. Architects, interior designers, and discerning homeowners choose us because light shapes how a home actually feels to live in. We're a certified B Corporation, Australian-made, and we're growing fast.
Ìý
We've automated almost everything in our sales process. Almost. The two things we haven't automated — and never will — are the two moments that actually matter: the conversation where we learn what a client dreams their home could feel like, and the moment we show them what we've designed for them.
Ìý
That's where you come in.
Ìý
What you'll actually do
Your world is two video conversations per client:
Ìý
The Design Brief (~30 mins) — you sit down with a homeowner and find out what they want their home to feel like to live in. The questions are prepared. Your job? Listen like it matters. Because it does.
The Design Presentation (~1 hr) — you walk the client through the custom lighting design our team has built from your brief. You read their reactions, capture their feedback precisely, and make the whole thing feel like an experience, not a sales call.
Ìý
Everything else — scheduling, follow-ups, emails, document chasing — is handled by our systems, sent in your name. You show up prepared. We handle the rest.
Ìý
You might be perfect for this if...
You're the person in any room who actually listens — not just waits to talk
When someone says 'cosy,' you ask 'cosy like what? A memory? A place? A time of day?'
You're comfortable with silence and let people fill it
You genuinely react to great design — you feel it, not just see it
You're confident, warm, and natural on camera
You've worked in hospitality, design, research, luxury retail, or anywhere people skills are the whole product
Ìý
Backgrounds that thrive here
We hire outside traditional sales on purpose. People who've done brilliantly in this role come from:
Ìý
Interior design (2–5 years out of studio — your aesthetic fluency is the edge)
Interior styling — editorial, staging, high-end residential
Fine dining and luxury hospitality — sommeliers especially
Boutique luxury — high jewellery, bespoke tailoring, art advisory, private client management
Soft furnishings & bespoke joinery — already speaking the homeowner's language
UX / qualitative research — trained in exactly this kind of structured elicitation
Ìý
If you've spent years making people feel genuinely heard and understood, we want to talk — whatever your CV says.
Ìý
The interview
One round. A roleplay — either a live Design Brief with one of our team, or a walk-through of a pre-prepared Design Presentation. No qualifications required. If we're aligned, we move fast.
Ìý
Why you'll love this
Paid per session — great rate for 30-60 minute conversations
Fully remote — work from anywhere with reliable internet and good audio
No cold calls, no chasing leads, no pipeline stress — clients are warm and ready
Every session arrives prepared — you just show up and be brilliant
Work with a brand that genuinely stands for something — B Corp, Australian-made, world-class quality
Ìý
Ready? Tell us about yourself. hrd@brightgreen.com
Send your CV and a short intro. Tell us what kind of conversations you find yourself in — at work or otherwise — and what makes you good at them.
