The attacks in certain neighborhoods located a little further north of the city. Public transport which is not very good. Be in possession of a car to be able to go shopping because everything is a little far away

Having resided in Bensonhurst Brooklyn with my husband who was studying a Master's degree in International Affairs. Having myself taken English and applied math classes after my work hours in Manhattan
Full-time work in catering and part-time studies (fresh off the boat sort of job).
The city is full of life, cafes and restaurants, grocery stores and supermarkets which are not far away (within walking distance), parks and beaches.
The subways and their delays, the pace of life, the cost of living, etc.
