Hello, For future expatriates wishing to leave their country of origin, a little advice: - prepare your papers carefully, especially if you are outside Europe - start learning the language of the country you are aiming for, if you are not motivated by this language, forget the country directly. - many aim for Germany (beautiful country, welcoming, open but also full of rigors, expert in paperwork). Berlin is a city that is always popular with foreigners, but I advise you to aim for cities that are more accessible, whether for work, housing and life in general. - have good savings with you for several months or even the equivalent of a year's salary or less because Germany has become even more severe against foreigners wanting to take advantage of the system. Do not expect to obtain an RSA style income like in France, it is now prohibited for anyone new to German soil. You will therefore have to look for work as quickly as possible. Apart from that, this country is a gem despite these imperfections.

I have had some fabulous years in personal terms. Unfortunately in professional terms, they were disappointments.
