My expat journey

Haapiti, French Polynesia
We have a real desire to integrate as best as possible. To build and maintain links with Polynesians and expatriates. To enjoy the sea, the sun, the sweetness of life.
I would like to sing in hotels, restaurants on the island and any other place that allows it and it is on track. We would like (with my husband) to welcome tourists passing through the house, in a guest room, which is why we are currently looking for a house to buy.
We already love the kindness, the good humor, the smiles of Polynesians, the sweetness of life, the simplicity in communication between people, the humanity shown by the employees in the services we use.
What we like less today: the administrative hassles in France, whether on the part of the public service or companies, who sometimes consider us in France, sometimes abroad and the incomprehension or even incompetence of many people who examine our files without trying to understand.
We already don't really like going to "the city" like many residents of Moorea. Papeete is too noisy, teeming, polluted.
