I have lived in France until now (10/2014) following my separation I am on my boat. As long as you want to change your life, you might as well go live elsewhere and the Canaries seem to me to be an acceptable place elsewhere, at least for the temperature and for the boat.
Well, time has passed and above all I find the ports in the Canaries extremely expensive: I was offered 4000? the year in all the ports where I wrote.
So today I would head more towards Morocco, Agadir, which is only a (big) day of sailing from the Canaries.
