When I met my future wife, I knew nothing about Mauritius so if she had been Mexican, Togolese, Asian, etc... it is in her country that I would certainly be anyway. What's better than living your retirement in the tropics? ! I came there to be closer to the in-laws, some of whose members are really great, not having much left to do with mine. I had known the country for around ten years. A small retiree from the private sector, I find myself in an environment that suits me quite well despite rather restrictive customary constraints. That's also freedom, adapting to others and respecting them, even if it's not always easy.
