Originally from Normandy, I have traveled and moved around quite a bit, a busy professional life: several jobs and a personal life too: 4 children and 6 grandchildren.... Tunisia has been my favorite country for 8 years and I plan to live in Djerba in 2 years when I retire... well deserved...

I love the mild climate there, (except July-August) going from the beach to the desert in a few hours....the beauty and calm of the Chenini mountains to recharge your batteries in the ghorfas.. The "nonchalance" of Tunisians, but also their desire for democracy.....their simplicity... but above all my djerbien love
the fear of being poorly protected from crazy people who call themselves Islamic a few looks of judgment...and the dirt of this beautiful island
