Hello! I moved from Bristol, England to Mauritius in November 2015 to live and work on the island. I have worked in commodity trading for nearly 45 years and have embraced a new culture, home and occupation. I am living in Tamarin with my partner, my children are both grown up; one works in the UK, the other in Switzerland. My hobbies are varied and I have started some new ones in Mauritius. I have learnt how to take better photographs and posted some on this website.
Having retired in June 2023, I set up my own consultancy and have kept busy doing photoshoots, video voiceovers and advising on sugar trading & marketing.
Mauritius has been very good to me, I love travelling around the island and exploring as much as I can. It is fun to share my experiences with others, support other expats and meet up with Mauritians on the island.

Thanks to all for your replies. The filter from the drum to the pump is blocked, a new pump could not mend it. It could not be repaired on site and it has been collected by 361 for repair. I will let you know how I get on. Peter Read More
