I am looking for information to emigrate, cost of living, quality of life, opportunities, etc. Initially to study and perfect my English for a period of no more than a year. My top three options are: Florida, San Francisco and Vancouver. I would like to hear experiences from other expats to guide me better.

I study at the University and take an English course. I have plans to work and develop professionally. Also to do other types of specializations.
I currently don't have a job, because my studies take up a lot of my time.
What I like about Caracas is that it has many places to visit and that it is a very busy city.
Although lately Carracas has become a very unsafe place.
