while I still provide unbiased information or as I like to say "the unbelizeable truth" to people who are considering living in, moving to, or retiring in Belize through my website at; www.billdoesbelize.com and through my Google collections. In addition, based on my contributions and what I believe is helpful unbiased information I was asked to become "the Belize Expert" here on the 大咖福利影院 Belize forum.
As a result of many requests from my website followers and some members here via private messages, beginning in January 2018 I will also begin to offer customized Expat Excursion Tours where I will further share my experiences on a more personal level with those that wish to get their "Sandals in the sand" to do their due diligence.
We love the quiet life of small village living here in Bullet Tree in the Cayo District of Belize. San Pedro became very busy in our opinion and of course here on the mainland we have cut our budget in half while enjoying a much better supply of fresh meats and produce. We are about 12 miles from the nearest major center of San Ignacio, but we still don't need a car for everyday life as our small village has 31 taxis that will take us to town for BZD 2.00 (USD 1.00) each.

The laid back lifestyle, wonderful welcoming people, low cost of living and diverse rich culture found throughout the country.
The things I didn't like were gringo pricing and manana time when we first arrived. Since then we have learned to slow down and adopt our new culture so there are no real problems anymore.

My last project was the project management and supervision of a 22,000 sq. ft. Timber frame home in Ontario Canada.
I spent almost 30 years in Canada's fast paced construction industry where I started as an electrician and finished as a Construction Project Manager for a custom home building company.
I liked everything. Canada had always been my home.
After 30 years of construction my joint were worn out especially during cold winters and our jobs were stressful.
