About

“I come from France” is not entirely correct. To simplify, I have always lived by the Atlantic Ocean. And I found myself in Andorra for 4 years (2006-2010). By choice? Let's just say that it was the only place where interesting opportunities were offered to me and my darling. By constraint then? Not so much either: we could perhaps have found it elsewhere. Andorra was the "easy" solution: my in-laws live there, so we were not isolated, and the setting is rather nice: beautiful mountain hikes less than 30 minutes away, and if we lacked "civilization", in 2.5 hours, we could go to Toulouse, Perpignan or Barcelona. Today, we are back in France, express passage to Île-de-France, but barely time to put down our luggage before we move again, direction: Picardy!

Volunteer in an associative library, the openness of people, their enthusiasm for bringing "their" library to life is a pleasure to see and good for morale: you can still want to do something out of taste and continue to enjoy it

Arriving there penniless, we took advantage of opportunities (easy to create in this country: you are easily given a chance, with or without experience, as long as you have the desire, the motivation) and left after getting married!
escalivada and patatas bravas from the l’aïgüeta restaurant; cross paths with a chamois or two; the colors of autumn (the differences in height mean that there is a gradient of splendid colors); the street sale of roasted chestnuts and sweet potatoes which warms and perfumes the streets in the middle of autumn; free concerts; walks and barbecues in the mountains; the snow which is capable of covering the entire country with a coat of 30 cm in one afternoon (even the roads, despite the road traffic); popular festivals
disrespect for nature (they dig tunnels at all costs and are surprised that after a first landslide, the mountain falls on them; they make gaps in the forest to build a road which ultimately is not even used because they have dug a tunnel underneath); their kebabs (never eaten meat with so little taste: don't know harissa); the incompetence of administrations (this is the other side of the coin: by giving a chance to everyone, or to the sons of friends of friends, the professional competence of employees is very unequal)
