About

I am Retired.
My expat journey

Castro Marim, Faro, Portugal
Peaceful retirement with my little means, beaches, walks, visits, crafts, meetings, quiet outings... I am a fan of scrapbooking and looking for friends if only to exchange projects, ideas, creations.
My partner loves playing cards and boules.
Retired from Customs
Quiet (small village but not far from everything), relationships that begin with the inhabitants of the village, kindness, friendliness, services provided with a smile....we are always looking for ways to help you and that's great!
I've only been here for 1 month

Nosy B茅 et Morondava, Madagascar
2 stays of 1 month each time. Not in hotels, rental with locals and immersion in the country
Vacation
Dream landscapes, beaches, crafts, animals, kindness and simplicity of some with whom I was able to interact
Too rich and too poor, too much corruption
Poor children and poor condition of women....sad while the country is rich, but the "cake" is poorly "shared"

Montr茅al-Ouest, Quebec, Canada
Vacation with my uncle
Nature, fishing in the lakes
Hospitalis茅 des gens
Mosquitoes in July

Flic en Flac, Black River, Mauritius
Several times on vacation
All
Poverty

Sainte-Suzanne, R茅union, Reunion Island
Sunshine, reminded me of my childhood in Tahiti, good standard of living as a civil servant, house with swimming pool, multiple trips, in short I enjoyed life
I worked there as a Customs Officer, in the airport offices
Car traffic, horrible!!!! Roads limited to 110 km/h where we move like snails (too many cars). 3/4 hours every morning to travel 8 km to work...

Saint-Denis, R茅union, Reunion Island
Work then retired and left for Portugal
Customs officer
Climate, nature, flowers, swimming
Traffic jams,

Christchurch, New Zealand
School exchange during my schooling in Tahiti
The welcome from the family, the school, nature, the visits...and I learned English well
Very beautiful country, adorable people
Terrible earthquake which left sinister traces

Papeete, 脦les du Vent, French Polynesia
Elementary school - middle school - high school
The weather, the sea, the freedom with my brother in the bush, snorkeling, fishing...
