My expat journey

Vientiane , Laos

Nong Khai, Thailand
calm
I had rented with my girlfriend (who became my wife), an apartment on two floors, the back side overlooked the jungle, so really good,
during the last two and a half years, (all the time of COVID, we were all alone in this complex of around twenty homes,
the first water pump broke down, three days later it was the second, the owner kicked us out and closed her thing, (we didn't dare protest, because the husband was a high-ranking officer in the Bangkok police.
like everywhere in these individualist countries, the noise
you want to put on your music, you do it, but loudly, so that the whole neighborhood can hear you

Samut Sakhon, Thailand
it was good, in all the time I lived, I met only one Farang
I lived with a superb girl, a steel engineer, young, very beautiful, except bipolar (and even tripolar)

Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Thailand
too many people, too much noise
a quiet life.

Port Louis, Port Louis, Mauritius
Three minutes from the capital, in a pretty town next to the port, Roche bois
Everyone was really great,
I intended to create a BnB, as a slogan 'spend a vacation with and in the real life of Mauritius.
