I have it in writing in my rental contract the landlady has to give me 24 prior notice if she wants to enter the property. I am quite sure that is the statutory law. Whether others abide by that is another matter. Read More

Has anyone else had problems having a uk bank account while permanently living in Malta,as I understand it you need a uk address to have an account, there is an international account available,but you need a balance of £25k with Barclays.
I forgot to mention you are also issued with a debit card with the maltapost account, it is a minimum 50e to open, but I found it a hell of a lot less hassle than going through the mainstream banks here. Good luck Read More
