About
Hi, I lived my professional life in Cosenza as a doctor. I am now retired and live in Rome where my son is about to graduate in interpreting and translation in the Arabic language. I realize more and more that living in Italy has become a constant defense against burdensome and sometimes wrong payment requirements. The ETR asked me for payments dating back to 2001 which I had already made, and yet it was up to me to prove it with receipts. The electricity distributor sends me astronomical bills ignoring my protests. I feel besieged and robbed. The idea of moving to Tunisia was naturally born for the economic advantages, but also for the beauty of the country. I can't comment on people yet, but I can say that I recently went to Tunis and southern Tunisia with a guide, born and resident in Djerba, who won the sympathy and affection of me and my son. Cultured, nice and honest person. I am scared of the bureaucracy regarding INPDAP which certainly has no interest in facilitating expatriation. I worry about having to go through some kind of bureaucratic odyssey. But I'll try. A welcome to all of you
