I traveled the world, but have never been in a place with a better climate...
Compared to the U.S., they are a little backwards in business.

Managed investments for private investors at the large brokerage firm Morgan Staney for a while trading stocks and bonds on the stock market. Did freelance writing for local CBS TV affiliate. Manged an upscale art gallery on weekends and was writing books.
With the exception of the summer heat, it is a real paradise to live in. Loved the daily hikes in the bare California mountains!!! And of course, it is in America!
I was able to start a new life after the collapse of my business and divorce. There is no country like the U.S. I loved it and everything that it had to offer to someone who wanted to make the most of life!
Summer heat at 45 to 52 celsius was a killer, even though it was dry heat. Had to get my hiking done by 7 am in the morning to avoid a heat stroke...

Had Jack Russell terrier; worked out, looked good and eat well. Traveled and worked in business with husband. Life was good, until it was not when the business collapsed...
Had good commerical real estate finance business with then husband dealing with German investors equity financing large-scale commerical development in U.S. specializing in mega-shopping centers
