My expat journey

englandenglandaustralia
Bangalore, Australia

Apr 2000 - Jun 2000

Bangalore, Australia

I travelled From Delhi to Rajesthan then Bangalore and Mumbai. I was based in Bangalore, worked and lived there for 3 months. I adore the city but i love Mumbai. It is so buzzing and a lot more advanced than the West in terms of Social life, fashion etc.
I was Activity Coordinator in an e-commerce company
I loved everything about my trip to India, the culture, the people i met there, the shopping and rediscovering where my ancestors came from.
I was shocked at first by the basic standard of living of the people of Nimrana village (located between Delhi and Rajesthan) while i was living in a 5 start palace on top of the hill of that same village. But then i got used to it and it dawn on me that this was their everyday lives and some don't know any better. I would very much like to go back and do something for this village.
