I am a French resident and working in France. I have spent several months per year (2 or 3) in Santiago for more than 10 years where I have a child and a Dominican partner.
I have been working as a port agent in the south of France for around twenty years
What I like in rep. Dominican: The cheerfulness and smile of the Dominicans even in the face of the difficulties that may present themselves to them. The sense of solidarity and sharing (of certain Dominicans).
The climate is very pleasant all year round.
The cost of living is also significantly lower than in France (if you consume locally) and fuel and real estate are at affordable prices.
