My expat journey

Tokyo, United Arab Emirates
I am looking for a job in Human Resources...at the same time I am following a distance learning course (Master of Business Administration) with the IAE, taking Japanese and Japanese cooking lessons and am part of a dynamic association! http://www.femmesactivesjapon.org/
Soon in HR within an international company in Tokyo, I hope!
The warm welcome reserved for the French, the politeness and respect of the Japanese (which means that even in a crowded metro/at the Shibuya crossing I do not feel suffocated or oppressed)!
The cuisine: the diversity of dishes, the discovery with each bite, the pleasant surprises when you order at a restaurant without really understanding the menu!
Meetings with Japanese or French people.
A change of scenery 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes from Tokyo: Hakone, Kamakura, Mount Takao...and a little further: Kyoto, Miyajima...
The perfection, beauty and serenity of Japanese gardens.
The weather in autumn: it's mild until November then cool but dry, and sunshine almost every day!
Desserts which look (sometimes) appetizing and which (very) often turn out to be disappointing, yet there are desserts that are divine and simple to make: matcha tea parfait, yuzu granita, sesame tiles, pumpkin cream...
High prices!
