Let me introduce myself, Maelle, 22 years old. I come from the south of France and I have lived in the United States for more than 4 years now under a student visa. I left for the USA after obtaining my baccalaureate and therefore just before turning 18. From August 2014 to May 2018, I studied at Lycoming College (PA) to obtain a Bachelor's degree in "Criminal Justice" and "Psychology". And in August 2018 I moved with my fiancé to Champaign (IL) to obtain my Juris Doctor (law degree). I have been absolutely passionate about the United States since I first came here, and I consider myself extremely lucky to be able to study in this country. My current goal is simply to finish my studies (another 3 years) and pass the bar so that I can practice as a lawyer in the USA. I also like to share my life experience and my passion for the United States and so I recently created a YouTube channel called Malou & First where I started to share my advice, tips and life experiences in the USA. I'm interested in the idea of ​​meeting other expats, because it's true that sometimes I miss the French language a little bit (although I absolutely don't regret living here).
