I am French from Guadeloupe, living in Metropolitan France since the end of my adolescence. But I speak, understand and express myself very well in Creole. I have been married since 1985 to a Chinese-Cambodian born in Phnom Penh, who arrived in France for his studies since 1972. We are grandparents and have 2 sons. We plan to build and move to Cambodia very soon (maximum in 2 years). I know Cambodia (2 trips, the last of which was in 2007); In the meantime, we are planning a vacation for the summer of 2012. With the aim of this future definitive installation, I am registering to exchange with those who practice this country on a daily basis. I am a former employee and retired since March 2011. I need to collect now to prepare a file, addresses of VERY competent professionals on site in Phnom Penh whom I can contact in writing if possible in French for the moment (doctors, real estate builders or real estate agencies, architects). In September, I will start the course in a Khmer school in Paris. I was too busy before and didn't do it sooner. But it's not too late. I already know some basics of the spoken language (phonetically I can cope with two or three needs). But I want to read and write. Okay, that's the main thing to communicate for now. To your feathers please, in a spirit of righteousness, of truth, without masquerade and without directed interest. Forgive me, but I know that it is not easy to have contact in Cambodia, without it only being a question of interests for the other. So, I get along well with everyone, specifying that I only provide free services (e.g. French lessons given to students for 5 years, and without funding). Today I am resting, but I keep this mentality of love, of listening, of advice. Thank you!
