I live my retirement there peacefully and happily, enjoying the country. Few projects because I have because of the income except excursions in the surrounding area.

The climate, cheaper living, a certain informality, having a nice apartment, a good social life like I had perhaps never had, the fact that people are proud of their roots, their history, the complete opposite of France, easier social relations.
People: a lot to review about what we say, hello myths.
In general: too much informality (it's okay a little but too much... ;-) ), a stuck and closed society including the left, culturally backward, the food, of course. (sorry) A frenzied egoism and indifference to everything, services or rather what takes their place sometimes.

Not much, my retirement visa doesn't allow me to work and that's fine. likes to visit the country even if I don't do it enough for my liking.
I'm gay, I would have liked to meet other gay expats but it seems like I'm the only one. ;-)
