1. CORPORATE EXPERIENCE In the mid-80’s, Laurent worked in England as marketing engineer. In 1989 he was employed in Detroit in US also as marketing engineer. In 1990, he moved to Australia for Rockwell Ltd Australia at executive level. Working as Marketing Director, he supervised a team of four people. In 1992, he integrated Honeywell France. Two years later, he becomes Export Director of the company. Part of the job includes managing 29 people all other the world, but mainly in Asia; travelling extensively three weeks a month during eight years and working in over 130 countries … With his expertise and experiences, in 2000, he decides to set up himself as an independent consultant. His main customer will be AUDI right from the beginning. His mission was Chief Project Manager for setting up Audi university to train managers in France. Then new clients like Hewlett Packard, Mercedes, l’Oréal, Teisseire, Amphenol as intercultural trainer for international business and intercultural management. 2. EXPERTISE As intercultural trainer, Laurent becomes certified Times Mirror and Achieve Global trainer, two of the most well known American companies in the field of sales training in USA. Laurent Goulvestre has given courses at MBA level in universities and management schools in Brazil, China and HEC in France. He is the author of five books in the field of crisis, leadership and international behaviour. All his books have even been signed by famous people such as Guillaume Sarkozy, Jean Marie Descarpentries, Michel Lacoste. REFERENCES IN ASIA Laurent started to travel in China in 1989. With a true passion for Asia and mainly India and China, he has trained Chinese and Indian people on intercultural management at CSPC Shijiazhuang Company close to Beijing (more than 100 managers during two years) and IPW (a plastic industry company) in Shenzhen. Laurent’s still working for IPW sometimes. In India, he has worked with Infosys customers and trained more than 200 engineers. He has also worked for two years with Japanese people and mainly for Honeywell Yamatake. 5.
