I came to Costa Rica for the first time on vacation in April 2011 and met my current lover there. After 2 other trips in January 2012 and May 2012 and long months of waiting... I joined him in the beautiful Nicoya peninsula in December 2012. Since then, he has introduced me a little more every day to the "Pura Vida" and different ways of serving gallo pinto, and I taught him a little French and introduced him to some good local dishes like waffles.
