I realized it is extremely hard to make friends in Miami if you're not in school anymore or don't have an office job... especially if you don't want to socialize with people from your home country. You really need to be active in your research of friends!

I went to Hyderabad for an intership with a non profit organization called "Marica". It own 3 schools and aims at giving a good education to local kids, and sponsor poor or disabled kids to give them a chance in life.
How friendly and welcoming people were!

Alex, it is really unlikely that the Royal Suite Hotel apartments will allow your dog. They don't seem to have a website so the only solution to make sure that they do is to go there and ask... I really don't know any hotel that accepts pets in Abu ... Read More

They are issuing a law about needing to have a lease contract(attested by municipality) to be able to get the visa. However I'm not sure this law is enforced yet. I arrived a month ago and the lease contract is apparently not required. Read More
