I have been French in Switzerland since 2000 (Burgundy origin). I am a landscaper by training, single father of a 10 year old girl. My Swiss friends, Yverdon: its thermal swimming pool and its relaxation area (it's cool in winter!), the lake, the fact that Yverdon is in the center of French-speaking Switzerland (=French-speaking), the gastronomy close to that of France (not like England!)...
A little xenophobia towards the French on the part of certain Swiss: the most uneducated in general! I cured myself of it by inventing this proverb: 鈥渋f you are sensitive to the stupidity of people, then you are stupider than them!!!鈥�
