Quatre Bornes, Mauritius

I have been going back and forth since 2010 to come see my Mauritian lover. On a tourist visa since November 2012, I have been living here since our marriage in April 2013. I worked in catering and now I am looking for another job closer to my favorite field, social work.
Looking for a job.
The absence of stress, the kindness and generosity of the Mauritians, their de-dramatization of life and their ability to laugh.
The lack of social conventions (hello, that's fine, goodbye...), that I am automatically labeled "rich" because I have a European face, corruption, communalism.

A school career ended with obtaining (in Caen and Bordeaux) a master's degree in Human and Social Sciences specializing in Clinical Psychology, various professional experiences, leisure activities including singing in the University Choir...
Pupil, student, temporary worker...
People's interest in others, in culture, in learning.
The moaning and the headache of the French (even if I myself am a good representation of this tendency). The current despair regarding the job market for young people.
