About
I am from Marseille by birth, I currently live in the C茅vennes, and I have been married to a Malagasy woman for more than 15 years.
we have had property in Madagascar for around ten years, a house located in the town center of MAJUNGA, large enough to accommodate two households with children, to accommodate two medium-sized cars although the garage is not very wide, and on the third level, two terraces with a magnificent view of the city;
It took us more than 8 years to refurbish this 10-room house and raise it by two floors, which doubled the number of rooms into two apartments. We took it upon ourselves to have work done in our absence, which doubled and even tripled the cost price. but hey, it's the ransom" of the Malagasy workers," they always say yes-yes when you ask if they understood correctly, but then you have to redo everything!!!!
so the lesson to remember is that you must always be present to do or have work done, which has the effect of monitoring what you ask and avoiding the theft of equipment, I must say that from personal experience, Madagascar is a very beautiful country, but it is unsanitary, and not safe, you must always remember to barricade yourself behind gates to avoid unpleasant surprises, and theft is very common especially on construction sites.
you should always avoid leaving your equipment in self-service otherwise it will blend into nature, for example, and it is very real, in one night, 50 bags of cement disappeared in my garage, and yet the workers were present in the house!!!!! and I'm not talking about the rest!!!!!
Well, I seem to be complaining, but in fact I am very happy to have this house, and to be able to reside in this land of wonders now that I have passed the worst.
