Franco-British, I just sold everything (2012) to settle permanently in Thailand. I live with a Thai woman who I met on February 14! Also since then between us it's Valentine's Day every day :-) For the moment I am in Kho Samui, renting 12 months by 12 months while I find the ideal place perhaps elsewhere in Thailand? Buddhist, I have a medium-sized Buddha, a few kilos anyway, which has been with me everywhere for more than 15 years, which I of course took with me, also, wouldn't I be the first Westerner to have "illegally imported" a Buddha into Thailand? I speak French English...and am starting to get by in Thai.
