We are a family of 4 from England (via Canada) who wish to spend a year in Sweden as a holiday/sabbatical. Hubbie and I are self employed and will support ourselves completely, not taking from Swedish Government at all. Children are home educated. Not sure where we stand with Brexit happening but hope to be able to spend at least one year in Uppsala or Stockholm area. Hoping to rent a house or apartment for this period. Any other English speakers who have experienced something similar? Would love to hear from you and all about your experience(s). We are currently learning the basics of Swedish as don't want to be lazy and just speak English the whole time! Who knows where it will lead...? Life is an adventure and adventure is an education.
