The city is beautiful, big but not overwhelmingly so, and the weather is perfect for me! The people are private but friendly and polite, and always so excited to have an excuse to speak English.
The large variance in the length of the day - only four hours of night during the summer, and four hours of day during the winter!
Mosfellsbaer, Iceland
I work as an au pair for the owner of a guesthouse in Mosfellsbaer.
Beautiful beautiful mountains, nice chilly weather, and the city only 20 minutes away!
Lots of rain, and having to be constantly on call at my job keeps me from being able to explore very much.
Rehoboth Beach, USA
I worked as a manager of a kitchen store, and also as a cook in a restaurant on the Avenue in Rehoboth Beach.
Rehoboth has an amazing international and GLBT community, and during the summer there's always something to do or somewhere to go.
During the winter, the town completely empties out and most of the stores close - it's hard to find work and there's not much to do.
