My name is Elizabeth and i am from canada. I moved here june 2 2018 to the city of helsingborg to be with my partner. I have just recieved my residency visa and i am waiting on my ID Card from the taxation department. I am currently looking for work. I would like to meet other canadians living here and just share experiences and network a bit. I can drive in sweden and i also have a bicycle to ride so i can get around pretty good. I plan to learn swedish language once i have my personal number i need it to register for school the sfi school. i am able to work here in sweden i guess even without a personal number seems strange to me but i am told i can.

it took me 18 months to get my residency permit now I am waiting for my ID card from the taxation bureau which will take 9 weeks which puts me into December as for working it's not encouraged by immigration or the taxation office until ibgave ... Read More
