Then worked as a receptionist in a Indonesian-British Beauty company in Jakarta, Indonesia in 1984. Here I worked as a temporary replacement receptionist in a barrister office for a week in 1992. After that year, my children made me, truly, so busy.

Occupation

I am Job seeker.

My expat journey

indonesiamauritius
Port Louis, Mauritius

Since Mar 1991

Port Louis, Mauritius

I got married in Jakarta, Indonesia. There I was a co-owner of a tutorial institution. Coming in Mauritius with a hope that I could somehow establish a professional link between here and my country of birth.
Present occupation is housewife.
This is a beautiful island. As far as my memory is concerned, I have been to Algeria, and Philippines, but Mauritian beaches are the best.
Frankly, the difficulty of assimilating with the new family, since this family is a mixed-culture, with various customs and religions, but so far, due to the diplomatic education from my own father, I am able to go along just fine.

Jakarta, Indonesia

May 1984 - Mar 1991

Jakarta, Indonesia

Worked as a receptionist in a foreign establishment for sometime and then had a chance to have an experience working for a semi-government institution in its Electronic Data Processing (IT environment)tickling and teasing IBM mainframes machines. Last activity - co-owner of "Lembaga Pendidikan dan Ketrampilan Indonesia" in 1990 until March 1991.
Apart from being one of the share holders, I also give private English language tuition to Junior High School students.
It is my birth country, a country with various cultures and costumes, consists of 27 provinces which each one has her own dialect but united by Bahasa Indonesia.
Over-population is the biggest problem for the nation.
