Does anyone know where I have to go to get a residence permit the online information seems kind of confusing about where I need to actually go to obtain this card. Has anyone going through this process and if so, can you tell me just where I need to go so I can get the process started

I've done this process multiple times. Each time recently I've gone to Abaseya. I doubt it can be done online.

It depends what it's for, but normally the passport, passport photos, a translation of birth certificate, copies of your documents (you can do the translation, photos and copies in the same Abaseya building) you'll need a receipt from the national bank proving that you changed USD to EGP to pay the fees within the past 2 weeks, and supporting documentation to for the reason you're applying for residency. Please noted that things change all the time and when you go the officer at the window can ask for something unexpected. So just bring every piece of personal documentation you can think of.
