I am considering retiring abroad and聽 Egypt is my first choice.聽 I am single and this would be a major decision for me.

I really appreciate your willingness to help!聽 The following topics are what I need assistance with:

1.聽 Places in Egypt/Cairo where expats live?
2. Cost of a one bedroom apt in nice area?
3. What type of visa would I need to stay 1 to 6 months?
4. Is there an expat retirement community there?
5. Are there any vegan restaurants there.
Any other information you could share will be most appreciated.

I am Eng. Ahmed ElMashad currently living in Cairo,Egypt
1) most famous place is Maadi in Cairo
2) if rent it would probably cost 147-176 US dollars converted from egp.
3)about the visa not quite sure.
4) yes there is an expat retirement community in Egypt.
5)there is a lot of vegan restaurants in Egypt actually my sister is a vegan too.
