Hi is anyone experiencing problems with booking biometrics page on gov.uk website?? I have paid the nhs charge 拢1200 and application fee 拢1523 however the next step is to book a biometrics appointment however the web page says sorry not working try later ... its been 10 days now .

I am talking about my application for a uk visa and how i am unable to book a biometrics appointment as the goverment web page for this has been displaying experiencing problems ... the nhs charge and application fees are paid before you are directed to a commercial partner聽 to book a biometrics appointment to complete the application .

What sort of visa are you applying for. From what I can see there is a聽 health insurance charge of 400 GBP for a full year if getting some form of long term visa. Putting aside the web page issue聽 I am concerned like Markhaz that you are getting ripped off.

I am applying for a spouse visa . The thought had crossed my mind but i dont see that i can be as i logged on to gov.uk website to make the application .

The application fees listed are less than you paid

The NHS charges are here

Again, less.

Something sounds off

Go to the site, then cut and paste the link here - Seems there are a bunch of fake sites pretending to be gov.uk

I paid the uk goverment .. i made an application for a spouse visa from egypt online ... as this is the only way you can. On .gov.uk website .. after completing the application details you then have to pay nhs charge of 拢1200 to pay this the application diverts you to a page within the application process as you cant get any further with the application untill the payment is made .. ihs number is then automatically attached to application and you then have to make payment of the visa fee in dollars 2071 (拢1523) ..you are then taken to a further action page to download check list and book a biometrics appointment with the commercial partner but when i click to do this it just keeps displaying聽聽sorry there is a problem with this page try later ...its been doing this for over ten days now...hense my question ...is anyone having the same problem ???

All payments to the British government are made in Pounds Sterling - The sites are very clear about that.

All fees are in sterling but paid in us dollars i am sure of this as i paid in dollars previously for just visit visa

The nhs charge is calculated automatically depending on visa applied for its now 600 per year

Every page, regardless of subject starts "www.gov.uk", but your pages do not.

I feel i am on the goverment web page as if i now go to and start new application it state i already have an application do i wish to return to it or make new one when i click return it asks for password and i am then signed in to the further action page again .... but the biometrics page again doesn't work. God willing it is genuine
