*** Saw your post and wanted to drop you a line. You can find short term rentals聽 for $800 but it'll be very no-frills. If you want backup electricity and water, modern finishes and fixtures, or things like a gym and swimming pool, you'll need to raise your budget.

Also, in case you want to be around other expats, focus your search on these areas: Ridge, East Legon, Airport Residential, Cantonments, Labone, Dzorwulu, Abelemkpe.
