Get used to the bored bit mate, not a lot to do except join all the ex pat groups like the CalSoc etc. If you are staying in an ex pat compound making friends should be easier.

We head out on thursdays, sit and eat or have a drink somewhere. You can come along tommorow if you want to join us. It's better you PM me on this as alot of local weirdos out here on this forum.

Caledonian society mate, also has Irish and Welsh and even a few English folk in it. They do things like Burns night, celebrate St Andrews day, and a fair few other things throughout the year.

Does the society also partake in activities involving the consumption of Glenfiddich?
