Hello there


We are a family of four hoping to move to Mauritius very soon from the UK.


We鈥檝e recently viewed Northfield International Highschool and located a property in Petit Raffray.


I鈥檓 looking for any views on the school and area to live in please.

Hello and welcome !


Have you been to Petit Raffray ? It is a small calm village, not far from vibrant lively Grand Baie (which is a good thing). You will have easy access to malls, shops, markets etc provided you have a vehicle.

It is overall peaceful but has made headlines recently due to domestic crimes.


In any case, I would strongly recommend that you visit the village and the property before renting long term.

Petit Raffray is a good compromise for those who want to avoid the overly touristy and busy atmosphere of coastal areas, especially during the festive season, and still be close to amenities.


I don't know any particular neighbourhood unfortunately.
