Hello jewel niles,

Welcome to 大咖福利影院 馃榾

Could you tell us a bit more about what you mean by an "inexpensive" apartment? What is your monthly budget?

It would also help to know which part of Mauritius you are considering, as rental prices can vary from one area to another. Are you looking for a furnished or an unfurnished apartment?

The more details you can share, the easier it will be for members to provide recommendations.

Cheers,

Cheryl

Welcome to the forum.

As mentioned above, please tell us a bit more of yourself and what you expect as a retiree. Are you coming alone? What is your budget? Have you visited before?

There are so many things to consider before making any decisions. The EDB website is a good place to start.

Best wishes.

Hi ....

furnished and not sure what area just walkable for retiree to a market and maybe away from high auto TRAFFIC. exhaust 'n noise.聽 And the least cost (ie. 25.,000rs but with a full kitchen 'n bedroom 'n' storage?

Hello jewel niles,

A good place to start is by browsing the following sections to get an idea of the types of properties available and the current rental prices:

Houses for rent in Mauritius

Flats for rent in Mauritius

One other factor worth considering when choosing an area is the climate. Are you looking for a warmer or a cooler part of the island? Although Mauritius is relatively small, the weather can vary depending on the region.

Cheers,

Cheryl
